Hua Tea | Drinking the Chrysanthemum

Join us for a new form of tea ceremony inspired by the historical Chinese scholar’s garden by Hua Tea / Krystal Chang.

An appreciation of the chrysanthemum in all its forms – the tasting of the chrysanthemum in a variety of herbal infusions and black tea blends; observing the form of the chrysanthemum in a floral installation; a communal meditation on the chrysanthemum through a simple drawing exercise; and a reading of chrysanthemums in Chinese poetry. We will engage all the senses in this momentary escape from the world.
